Pricing

We strive to set our prices in a way that makes them as accessible as possible, while ensuring that the income from our work is sustainable and feels right for us. To further support this process, we ask you to consider our sliding scales based on your own self-assessment. The standard price applies to those who find themselves between the two points below.

We invite you to pay more if two or more of the following points apply to you

  • You own shares in a property, inherited money, stocks or other securities, and savings
  • You can fall back on family resources if needed
  • You can afford to travel for holidays and invest money in leisure activities
  • You generate more income or have access to more capital than others due to your level of education, health, social status, family background, gender, or other privileges

We invite you to pay less if two or more of the following points apply to you

  • You live month to month and have less than CHF 5,000 in savings or are in debt
  • You cannot fall back on family resources if needed
  • You are in a training or education programme that you are financing entirely (or mostly) on your own or through debt (with no allocated budget for leisure activities)
  • You carry existential responsibility for other people, which puts you in a financially vulnerable situation
  • You cannot afford to go on holiday, or only very rarely take budget-oriented trips (once a year or less)
  • You generate little income or have little to no capital due to your level of education, health, social status, family background, gender, or other marginalising factors

Reflecting on one’s own privileges, as well as on disadvantages and discrimination, can be a deeply personal process and may bring up strong emotions. We stand for open and transparent engagement with all topics and strongly encourage you to exchange thoughts and experiences on this with others.
